Christian Goodman is a well known health researcher and the writer of several revolutionary natural health alter

January 25th, 2010

I always try to maintain my health in a natural way. I’m always fond knowing things about improving my health as I take my health seriously.

As long as my health is concerned I’m fond of knowing the things that I do not have control like genes, pollution etc and the things that I have control over my heath

On the basis of research I collected a lot of details on cytomegalovirus. And also its connection to hypertension. Mostly I prefer researching health topics that brings value to me and my clients.

Like so many viruses, CMV takes its name from Greek – cyto (cell) plus megalo (large). This virus is actually part of a larger herpes virus family. It is part of the same virus family of which mononucleosis is a member.

CMV virus affects 60 to 99 percentage of the population. Developing countries is mostly affected by this virus, even though it is found in almost all countries. Urine, saliva and semen are the substances through which this virus is passed.

The first thing a virus which I have not heard of affects 60 percentage of the population. Secondly there is 39 percent gap in infection rate reports to be inconsistent. This two reasons bother me a lot.

As I’m not a doctor I asked one of my good friend who is a doctor about this. He replied on a average a person with a age 40 carries this virus and it is widespread. I was shocked to hear this.

My friend went on to explain that the virus doesn’t generally produce symptoms in children or adults unless the patient is has an immune compromised system already (HIV infected, organ transplant recipients and elderly patients).

This virus is rarely life threatening apart from the above said conditions. And about one percent of born babies get this virus as birth defect.

I can live with that if it is harmless.

Recent studies it has been confirmed that there is a connection between CMV virus and atherosclerosis. And this can lead to high blood pressure, but it is even more deadly when it is mixed with high cholesterol diet.

It can even affect younger patients, but it is commonly found in persons above the age of 80. If untreated hypertension can destabilize all the other organs and this may lead to conditions like stroke, blindness etc.

This opens new doors as far as preventative medicine is concerned. New research has lead many experts to consider vaccines as an option when looking at high blood pressure patients.

Basically regular exercise and healthy diet are the better ways to eliminate hypertension. Only this will protect you from high blood pressure. You can also take prescribed medicine, but all the prescribed medicines comes with a side effect.

I recommend my all natural High Blood Pressure program. The relaxation and breathing exercises are easy to do and the results are amazing, both short and long term!

Diabetes and High Blood Pressure – What’s the Connection? by Christian Goodman

December 28th, 2009

A friend of mine was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, (also known as adult onset or non-insulin dependent diabetes). This was a surprise to her as she didn’t seem to suffer any symptoms typical of this disease, frequent urination, lack of energy, thirst and weight loss.

when her physician ordered a test at her yearly check up She came to know that she is diabetic.

I, along with her doctor took this diagnosis very seriously as my friend had previously been diagnosed with high blood pressure, or hypertension, a few years ago.

What’s the big deal? For starters, over two thirds of people with diabetes also have high blood pressure. OKso?

Let’s start with what diabetes is. Diabetes is a disorder in which the body can’t properly process sugar. There are two types: Type 1 diabetes is when the pancreas does not produce insulin which is needed to regulate blood sugar in between meals. Sufferers of this type of diabetes must inject themselves with insulin in order to regulate their blood sugar.

Type 2 diabetes is a condition where the body does actually produce insulin but it is unable to properly process sugar. Of the over 5 million sufferers of diabetes (experts believe this number is actually double and that many people suffer from the disease and don’t realize it), between 90-95% of those suffer type 2 diabetes.

For those with type 2 diabetes, tissues become targets of the uncontrolled sugars and begin to erode. The most susceptible are the eyes, nerves, kidneys and heart. In fact, diabetes is the number one cause of kidney failure and the sixth highest cause of heart failure.

Just like high blood pressure, the person who suffers from diabetes feels no symptoms at all. And this affects their major organs and eyes for years.

In addition to this hypertension also affects heart, kidney’s and eyes. In fact, those with high blood pressure and diabetes are over 75 percent more likely to suffer a heart attack or stroke!

Medication is a must for many people. But the good news is diabetes can also be delayed or prevented from spreading by exercising regularly and by maintaining a healthy weight. It also advised to avoid excess alcohol.

Even though medications are available for hypertension it comes with dangerous side effects. Similar to diabetes people who suffer from hypertension can also do certain things like regular exercise, maintaining health, avoid drinking excess alcohol and stop smoking to reduce the effects of hypertension.

My hypertension program consists relaxing and natural exercises and have helped more than thousand people. I recommend my hypertension program if you are suffering from high blood pressure. It will even work out on type 2 diabetes as hypertension and diabetes are closely related.

Understanding the Community Health Connection by Christian Goodman

December 28th, 2009

We get almost everything at east, then what are we lacking? I get this question when I think about that we live in a place that offers abundant food, transport entertainment, and easy access to the electronic age.

Had this affected the connection between people? We don’t lack anything, we get cars, buses, fast food, movie theaters and golf courses are everywhere. No, here I’m not speaking with a short conversation we have say with a server when go to a hotel. Actually I’m speaking about relationships between people say how we handle the salesman who sells us the car.

Does our community and close relationship we share with the family has been affected? If so then what effect does it has with our health.

Luckily, there are many number of popular researchers who also think of the same questions. And they do also have the fire to find the answer.

This community had similar eating habits as of their neighbors, this study has been conducted for nearly 30 years in 1950′s. In a town called Roseto, Pennsylvania a study has been conducted among an Italian-American community and this is called “The Roseto Effect”.

In short, the study found that these people had longer life spans and were overall much healthier than their neighboring counterparts. This was true in spite of the aforementioned risk factors including smoking and lack of regular exercise.

But the younger generation of this group saw their health declining. In the initial stage they maintained close relation within family and community and they also maintained good health. But once they came out of the family and community their health started to deteriorate.

Close personal connections, especially feelings of love and perhaps care taking directly and positively affect our health even when habits traditionally considered bad for us are still present. This is further supported by something I philosophized on in a previous article relating to how pets lead to these same feelings of love and in return positively affect our health.

We do not have to be part of a large family to inject ourselves into a community. We may just have to be a little more creative and open in order to acquire the sense of community. Watching a movie can be great entertainment, but it is a very solitary activity which requires no interaction with anyone else.

You can even ask the server where he worked before when you go to hotel etc. Other than simply inquiring about the special food you can interact with him in a friendly way. Alternatively we can also discuss about a book recently read or a movie recently watched all these will create a connection.

Being self entertained can still be good and force some internal reflection in understanding who we are as people. But denying these very important family or community ties will ultimately shorten our lives unless we tend to them the way we might tend to our cars insuring they are clean and running properly.

It also recommended to all of us to treat our relationships inside the family with utmost care and love. Regular exercise and food with less fat is always advised.

I am pleased to share my all natural alternative health programs as well. All programs involve easy to implement exercises and can be done with someone you love who might be struggling with certain health issues.
