Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon are two such people who promised to renew they wedding vows every year.
April 30, 2008 was Mariah and Nick’s first wedding date. And on May 6, 2009, a new promise was made in a remote place off the beaten path of paparazzi snoops. On the shores of the Indian Ocean, at the One and Only Reethi Rah resort in the Maldives, they renewed their promised to each other.
Since privacy was paramount, it, however, did not stop them from inviting their closest friends such as Beyonce and Jay-Z to share in their celebrations.
Now does the second time around mean you don’t get a ring? Absolutely not! NIck designed a very special ring for Mariah. It was actually three rings. They were a pink diamond band and two white diamond sparklers that matched her 10 carat diamond engagement ring from NYC jeweler Jacob & co.
This is how fairy tales are made. The evening was magical with family and friends seated around a satin swathed table near the ocean. Nearby, the couple shared a small sweetheart table and everyone dined on local fare such as surf and turf fresh from that day’s catch.
Mariah’s bouquet was fit for new brides as well as second rounders. It was composed of stephanotis which last a long time and are known for their wonderful sweet scent.
As magic continued to happen, their wedding cake made with Grand Marnier and coffee essence increased the fairytale atmosphere of celebration.
This type wedding is what all new brides dream for themselves. And remembering what our lover said to us would even be more special. Thanks to good aftermath reporting, Nick’s commented on how amazing sharing that moment with the woman he loved, was all he could remember. How special is that?
Mariah and Nick are certainly two people with exceptional health and money and not afraid of enjoying the best things in life.
